I can tell already that this summer will be different than any other.
Not having anything planed until July is very relaxing.
It has been rough going trying to find a job since I will be gone so long, but I haven't lost all hope just yet. I still have two more prospects and if those don't pan out, well then I will just have to deal with it then I guess.
Megan has moved in all of her stuff and will officially move in on Tuesday :) It will be nice to have another girl in the house. It will be a bit of an adjustment however. Josh and I have gotten into a groove and throwing someone else into it will take so getting used to, but I'm really excited about her being here!
The only major downer to this summer so far have been the fact that I will not be able to graduate in December like I had planned. I was really mad at first but there is nothing I can do about it, and I was going to be here anyways so it's not like I have to find someone where to live or anything.
All the major things for the England trip have fallen into place. I have enough spending money to go over there with, the tickets are bought, and my passport came in. I can't wait for this trip! Three weeks in a a country that I have only ever dreamed of being in. I know we are going to try to go to London for at least a day and maybe even Scotland!
Josh and I hit the one year mark. I was both stunned and amused by this. Stunned because I have never been able to make a relationship work for this long before. And amused because most days if feels like so much longer, we really are an old married couple some days but I wouldn't have it any other way.

I'm not gonna cry, not one sad or happy tear
It's a very strange feeling to see all my friends from back home graduating. They did it. In four years they got through college and now are going into the real world. And me? I still have one more semester. Let's be real. I was never planning on graduating in four years. I never really wanted to. I wanted to take my time, make decent grades and enjoy the ride.
But now?
I almost feel like I have fallen behind.
But I also know that in a few short months I will be done.
And it will be a great feeling.
Anyways.
The semester is over and I am so very glad. Now it is time to relax and take a break for once. I am still on the job hunt, but I have a few leads that look promising. My goal list for the summer is a bit domestic for once.
I want to get the house in good shape.
Find material for my senior acting recital.
Work out.
Teach Josh how to ride a bike.
I am ready to take this summer on with open arms and a positive attitude.

where they go hardcore and there's glitter on the floor
I really think this entry could have just been called crazy for you, for that is what has taken over my life for the past few months. It has been a crazy ride with our director leaving for a month which meant we ran what we had a lot. When she came back we hit the ground running getting everything else done and had a cute new china baby to play with. We went into tech last weekend and the negative emotions surfaced. None of us are really used to working on a show this long without preforming it. We have had injuries and are all in general just sleep deprived. But we have pulled it together and I know that this weekend the show will be amazing. I just hope my leg can hold out that long.
A mist all this craziness I have also moved into a new house. The house is still a mess because we have both been too busy to organize but it feels more and more like a home every day. It isn't the easiest living situation, living with your boyfriend never is. There are fights, but over all I think it has brought us closer together.
This semester is almost over which is strange for me, I feel like we just started. With only one semester left I can finally see that light at the end of the tunnel.

So long 2009
"The time has come," the Walrus said,
"To talk of many things:
Of shoes--and ships--and sealing-wax--
Of cabbages--and kings--
And why the sea is boiling hot--
And whether pigs have wings."
2009 has come and gone. When this year started out I saw it as a new hope and a new beginning and in many respects it was just that. This past year has been one of the saddest, most stressful, and best years of my life.
I celebrated new years twice.
Somehow survived Reefer Madness.
Dated someone new.
Got a tattoo.
Danced,danced, and danced some more.
Had a Stress Free Spring Break.
Learned Why we tell the story.
Lost one of the most beautiful people I have ever known.
Came to terms with everything that happened with him.
Spent a week on the beach with my best friends.
Moved into a new apartment.
Meet someone who proved to me that love is real.
Had an internship at Flat Rock.
Understudied one of the hardest shows I have ever been in.
Was a man in a show... kinda.
Got cast in a main stage musical.
Made some amazing new friends.
Grew closer to others.
Made plans for a future that doesn't scare me.
This year has forced a lot of us to grow up, in ways we didn't even know that we had to. I have seen many people, including myself, come into their own. Find happiness in their own way. I know that this year the good has by far out-weighed the bad, even if it didn't always feel that way.
What this new year also represents is the past 10 years of my life. I remember ringing in the year 2000 in Leah's grandmother's living room. Things like the 6th grade seem so long ago. I don't think I could even begin to write about all that has changed since then.
What I do know is that this year I am ringing it in, in the most unconventional way yet. I have the honor of working 5 to close tonight. That is right, I will be ringing in the new year at Hooters, in my uniform and all. It will be fun.
So as I said last year.
Here is to a new year.
Here is to love
to friends
to happiness.

And this life is a beautiful one
It is very strange to go from updating everyday to never updating.
These past few weeks have been crazy busy. I feel like I live in this whirl wind that if you blink you miss 50 things.
I got to go to Aubrun with what I am sure to be one of my only free weekends until November. It was great to see Shannon and to get out of Columbus for a little while.
I survived understudy run of God's Ear. And the comedic effect the show was given with Garrett and I jumping in and out of different characters I am sure was a much needed break from the depressing show that it normally is. With that being said we also opened and closed God's Ear. I almost had to go on but luckily I did not. The show seemed to be well received and effected some people much more than I thought it was going to. I guess that when you have seen the show a million times sometimes the effect gets lost on you. But I am glad that it made people think and even scared them to a point. Even though we don't always appreciate it when theatre does it to us I am glad that it is able to have that effect on people.
This semester has already seen so long and draining. I almost feel as if nothing more could happen, good or bad. But I know that is not true. Most of the time I don't want to think about any of it. I would just like to pretend that everything is sunshine and rainbows. But I can't help anyone and I can't help myself by thinking that way. Things just change so fast around here its almost hard to keep up with it all. I just remind myself. Trust who you know you can trust. Love who you can love. And put faith in yourself and God.

Union Jack
I have decided not to do GTC this year.
I was presented with two options.
1. Go to GTC, God willing go to SETC and once again God willing get summer work.
-This would mean being gone for the whole summer working at a theatre, like I have the past two summers only hopefully this time acting.
2. Go to England.
- Josh has asked me to go to England with him this summer for his grandpartent's 50th wedding anniversary.
For some reason this decision wasn't that hard for me to make. Almost from the moment that he asked I knew that I would go. But I did have to think about it. It is passing up an opportunity to act. But I feel like not going is also passing up a life experience. Besides Mexico I have never been out of the country, and lets face it I have always wanted to go to England.
I also feel like completely taking a summer away from theatre will be good for me. I just get so burnt out here with school that I don't want to lose a my passion with being so burnt out.
I'm still getting used to making decisions that will effect me in this much of the long term. Because I know that in saying I will go I am putting a lot of faith in trust in my relationship. Because obviously I will only get to go if we are still together 6months from now.
Deep breaths.

Shh I am trying to imagine the rest of my life without you.
I am home.
Being back in Columbus has been wonderful. I know I said it a lot this summer but to actually get back here and not have issues from last year was a really great thing. And the fact that it actually worked out the way I wanted it to was more than I could have asked for.
There is only one thing I wish I could change. But I know that I can't. I guess sometimes you just have to deal with the fact that people will decided not to have you in their lives anymore. But I am the happiest I have been in years and I am not going to let it bring me down.
Gods Ear rehearsals have been going really well. I am excited to see this show grow.
I have been putting a lot of thought into the future lately. With only a year and half left its something I have to do. But I am not used to having plans. I am not used to planning for thing that are months or years away. But I find myself doing it more and more.
England
Boston
This time last year these things would have sent me running. But I don't want to run anymore. No one is promising me forever. But right now I don't need it.
