Day Thirteen

So as it gets said a lot around here
"It's the day of the show ya'll!"
Today the kids got to show their parents what they have been working on for the past week. It went really well,I only had to give out a few lines. I even got to wear a costume :). I was sad to see them go, but I am really excited to have a new group of kids next week. After lunch I made some copies of the script for next week, then had to go through and highlight all the different parts. Then I was back to the theatre library to finish alphabetizing the vocal selection books. While I was in the middle of doing that Charles comes in and tells me that the Mac has freaked out and completely whipped out our address book. FML. I can just imagine how I am going to be spending next week putting all that back into the computer. Neither Charles nor I are really Mac savoy so we weren't sure if there is some way to reset it like there is on PCs. So I started making some calls to India first to see if she knew how to reset it, she did... just not for this model. Josh didn't really know how to but he told me to call his friend Zac who is really good with computers. Let me just say that even though I don't mind calling a complete stranger and telling them that their kid's camp has been canceled I hated having to call Zac who I have only meet once... at karaoke. Of course he didn't pick up, so I had to leave a voice mail, it was awkward. I'm sure Charles got some entertianment out of it since it start off something like this," Hi Zac this is Josh's girlfriend Brittain.... He said that he texted you and told you I was calling...." Yeah fun times all around there. We ended up leaving work without getting the Mac fixed which meant calling Zac again and leaving another voice mail asking him to call on Monday and ask for Charles since I was going to be working with the kids. I then came home and crashed bc I was exhausted. Then it was off to Mills River b/c my mom and Grandpa Brittain are in town. I had dinner over there but opted to come home tonight. I am spending the day with them tomorrow though so that should be fun.

I am so ready for this weekend. I love this job but I love having time off too.

So slight change in the countdown since Josh is now getting here a day earlier than I originally though :D
