Day Twenty-Eight

Weekends lose pretty much all sense of fun when you have to spend them by yourself. Never the less I had a good day. Last night was a once again amazing Midnight Studio. The theme: Alabama Jones and the quest for the Hijab. So funny! I then came home and talked on the phone for a little while before hearing some commotion going on, on my front porch. It turns out a very drunk Chris and Micha where trying to tie us into our room but Teressa caught them. So we all hung out on the porch and talked for a while. Basically it was a fun way to end the night. I had been so tired all day but could not force myself to got to sleep for some reason but I did end up finally falling asleep around 4. I forced myself to sleep until 11 because for some reason my body really wanted to wake up at 8:30 this morning.

After lunch I decided to go and check out this pool that I had heard about earlier in the week. I think you might have had to go into the office and get a scan card thing and I just didn't really feel like doing that so I decided to find something else to do. I ended up driving up the mountain a bit and going to Jump Off Rock. I was thinking there would be water involved and since I was in a swim suite I figured what the hell. There was no water. But there was a very pretty view and some fun hiking trails. So I walked around there for a little bit and climbed on some rocks, which proved to be much easier said than done since I was in a skirt. After getting lost on my way back down the mountain I thought like ice cream sounded like a wonderful idea. I realized that I had never really walked around the strip downtown so I parked my car and started to walk around on the way to the ice cream place. It was packed so I ended up walking out. But I had seen another place to get ice cream down by my car so I headed down there. They were also packed. So I walked back to my car defeated. No ice cream for me. But on the way home I saw a McDonalds. I mean a McFlurry is better than nothing right?

Once back on lot I enjoyed my ice cream then decided it was time for a movie and a nap since everyone else was still in the show for at least another hour. I started watching Rachel Getting Married and got about 45 minutes in before I feel asleep. What I saw was pretty good. The camera work was getting on my nerves but that was about it.Then it was time for dinner. Leftover night, not the best night ever but since most people have family in town tonight there was plenty to choose from. I finally sat down and read a few chapters of my book after dinner and am now sitting on my porch just sitting around.

Like I said weekends aren't as much fun by yourself but I am still finding ways to entertain myself while everyone is busy. But some good news! Teressa is not on crew for the next show. So after tomorrow I will actually have someone to hang out with at night and on the weekends. Should be fun. Plus Josh gets here in two weeks. I think I will now go inside and watch some movies while I wait on a phone call/wait for people to get out of the show.
