Day Twenty-Six

Today was a much better day all around.
We took the AM camp to see Rutabaga! stories which is always a lot of fun. The hike is the most amusing part of my day actually. Between the fact that the kids are really short and therefore it takes them a really long time to get anywhere, especially this one little girl that we have that is the cutest thing I have ever seen b.c she barely comes up to my knee. And the fact that they are not used to physical activity and so hiking up a hill is a lot of work, it just makes my day. There are two kids in my morning group that really test my patients. They don't take instruction and have horrible attitudes. Its very hard to work with that but luckily the majority of the kids are great and love being there. The afternoon camp was amazing this afternoon! The kids have been doing so much better than Tania and I ever thought they would! So we spent the first hour or so of the time warming up and playing games. Its a lot of fun to just run around and act like your six every once and a while. And to see just how much it really does involve theatre it makes it even better. I then had a nice long talk with one of my roommates. I love days that end like that. Its so picturesque just sitting on the front porch talking.
