Day two

So today was my first full day here at Flat Rock. Woot.
I did a lot of paper work type stuff, filing, input data into computers ect. But it was a lot of fun. It's so laid back here! There isn't a whole lot to do because the kids aren't here yet. But on Thursday I am working with one of the teachers and she said that there isn't a full days work to do so we are going to go see Old Love, which is the show that is running up here right now. I'm excited.

Tonight was a pretty fun night. We got to go with the apprentices, or aprentalopes as they are often called since they travel in groups, to a cook out at someones house. We just got to hang out and eat, and fish, and canoe. I meet a lot more people, and of course I remember like 5 names. Oh well.

My roommates and I are going to go and celebrate my birthday on Wednesday and I am really excited. I was afraid I was really just going to be hanging out here. But this will be a lot more fun.

I think that there is something about being up here that is a lot more soothing than being home. And I think that this is just what I needed.
