They say it's your birthday! ( Day four)

I really do think that this has been one of the best birthdays that I have had in a very long time. Lets review it shall we?

Last night I called josh around 11 and talked to him for a while. I knew it was midnight because in the middle of our conversation he started singing happy birthday to me :) As we where hanging up Andrew called me. I have not talked to Andrew in about 3 years so it was really good to hear from him! We talked for a little while and as we where hanging up Robin called me :) It was good to hear so many voice from home in a row. I then went inside to go to bed since it was now almost 1 am and I had to be at work in the morning. I woke up this morning to a text message from my favorite country as well as friends wishing me a happy birthday on facebook. My Uncle Shawn called, sadly I was in the bathroom straightening my hair at the time so I missed the call :(. Then it was off to work. Not too busy of a day. I input some more data and talked to Charles. I went off to lunch and got some more birthday wishes from people around the camp. Then I went back to work and Tinia and Charles sang me happy birthday and gave me a present. While I was at work I received 3 voice mails from friends which really made me smile.I got to call Megan back when I was on my break and talk to her for a little while which was really nice.My dad even called me, which he never does, he says his phone only works one way ha. James called and sang me happy birthday which really made me smile, mainly because it was sweet and very off key. I finished up my work by about 3:30 which was really nice. I came home and took an hour nap before dinner which was wonderful. I ran into my roommate on my way to dinner so we walked over together. I was sitting there eating my food when a bunch of people came inside. I thought nothing of it and continued to eat my pork chop. Next thing I know everyone is singing happy birthday to me and bring out a cake. It was really sweet of them. After dinner I went back over to the national park across the street. This time I hiked up to the top of the mountain. It was breath takingly beautiful. Now I am just waiting for everyone to get out of the show so we can go to the bake room, which is one of the local bars. So see a pretty great day.

Now while I was on my walk I had one of those perfect moments. It is going to sound really cheesy but I will share it with you anyways. I was walking back down the mountain and when I saw this pound with what looked like a path way over it. So I went down to see it. It turned out to be a mini water fall. I walked along the rock structure that it flowed over and as I was getting ready to turn around Bella's Lullaby came on my iPod. I walked back along the path and the sight I so was gorgeous. It was this huge open field with grass up to my knees and a well beaten path through it. At the end of the path you could see a red barn. It was so sunny and there where just the right amount of clouds in the sky. Like I said it was perfect. It was one of those moments where you just have to stop and thank God for your life. I even had a total Belle moment and found a dandelion and blow it all over the place.

I think that this is one of the best birthdays because its also the happiest that I have been in a long time. So even though I am hundreds of miles away from my family and friends I am still able to enjoy the day and just be happy. Its a great feeling.
